What about my hand on the top of the Empire State Building?
Scène (1) on the Empire State Building.
Left you see a group sailors on the top of The Empire State Building. They had the intention to let jump one of the sailors, by hypnosis, from this skyscraper. On the moment, I became aware of their evil meanings I interrupted in a very angry way and shouted that they were scamps, bastards, sons of prostitutes. How could they hypnotize somebody, a sailor, flower of the nation, and let jump him of a skyscraper and even use it as a scene in a movie? How do they have the guts to do these kinds of things!
Trembling of anger, I proposed that I, instead of the sailor, should jump of the skyscraper………..

This as a prove, a match point, that I really was involved in The Shadow. That I was really, during the shooting of the movie, on The Empire State Building. I can remember me very well that JW had stitched a strange false nail on my thumb. This action of him was the start of many memories concerning my important contribution to this movie! He had stitched this false nail because in this way I should not, according to his opinion, recognize my own hand. You see: some intentions, and in particular the evil ones, are working the wrong way around.

Next of the man in traditional clothes, you see somebody I have met for the first time in the Eighties.
In fact, I do not dare to tell about this man. I really feel guilty! I am the cause that he is an actor in this movie and probably, somewhere in a small hotel room, is starving now from loneliness.
I was the one who put a headphone on his head! I was the one who scanned his brain in charge of JW (after he has drugged me). I was the one that made him to a slave from JW, the king of the Lombards! The bastard!
I met this poor actor for the first time in my house in The Netherlands. Probably in 1980, if I remember well. He was a carpenter and helping me with a renovation of my house.
